George Lucas in Love - Joe Nussbaum

Title – George Lucas in Love

Directed by – Joe Nussbaum

This short film has a linear structure. It is subjective only showing one point of view, additionally giving the audience a restricted point of view.

The short starts abruptly. It contains classic star wars music which is used in the movie and the variances in music present the scenes as either positive or negative. It’s filmed like a full-length feature, not giving it an amateur feel which usually is a staple of short films.

'George Lucas in Love' has only the title of the movie appearing briefly in the opening, no other credits or titles appear at the beginning of the movie. Over the end credits the music that plays is in the style of traditional star wars endings.

The short due to its time limitations only concentrates on the themes of Love and receiving inspiration from things that happen around you.

The purpose of this movie was to become a ‘calling card’ around Hollywood for the film makers who were trying to get their name to become known.
